Smurf Sweater

As promised, here are the details of Braydon's Smurf sweater:

THE DETAILS

Pattern:  Patons (U.K.) pattern graph from the 1980s
Used another sweater pattern as a template.
I had to make a number of changes to the pattern, so I'm not linking here.

Yarn:  SandnesGarn Lanett Superwash
Main color:  red #4128
One ball each of black #1099, blue #5836 and white #1001
Purchased from Wool-Tyme
Ottawa (red, black, white)
Kingston, Ontario (blue)

Needles:  2.75mm and 3.00mm

Buttons:  Toadstools
Purchased online from Textile Garden in the U.K.

Size:  2 years - 24" chest
It's intentionally a bit big (Braydon is 13 months old) so that he can grow into the sweater.

Wow. This is wonderful. Braydon is so cute and the red is just perfect on him. Nice job with the Smurf. I was once Smurfette for Halloween. Love them all!

The real Smurf is just as cute as the sweater, even if he is not blue.
