Music Bucket List

Hi there.  I'm here!  It's been a busy week as I'm working on a new sock pattern design - swatching, knitting, ripping, reknitting, changing my mind, ripping again, knitting again.  Now, the sock is where I want it and I need to make a second one and transcribe the pattern from all my notes.  I'll have more on that later.

Do you have a bucket list?  I have a couple of them:  one for my knitting, one for music, another for adventures and life.

My music bucket is fairly short:
  • See as much good, live music as possible.
  • See Pink Floyd - likely will never happen.  Pink Floyd isn't recording or touring so I guess they haven't heard about my bucket list or are ignoring it.  Come on guys...
  • Play my guitar reasonably well (practice, Joanne, practice)
  • AND.... see the Allman Brothers Band, the whole band.  So far I've seen guitarist Derek Trucks and bass player Oteil Burbridge but I'd like to see the band in its entirety, with Gregg Allman singing with Jaimoe and Butch Trucks on drums...and the rest of them.
Yesterday I took a step towards making that happen as I bought a ticket to see them play at the end of July in Columbia, MD.  Front row!  And to make a good thing even better, Santana will also be playing.  I can't wait.  Gregg Allman's autobiography, My Cross To Bear, arrived in the mail yesterday. All in all, it was a very Allman-y day!
Do you have a bucket list?  Are you accomplishing your dreams and crossing things off your list?  If you have one, and you blog about it, send me the link.
